Earth has changed since The Fall. The colors are not like the ancient texts claim. Everything has a strange tint about it, almost luminescent. Eyes followed me while I explored the forest. I couldn’t find the source.

The eyes followed again today. I watched the trees closely, looking for whatever it is. I glimpsed a hand with long spindly fingers peek out from behind a tree. When I turned it disappeared. The hand looked like mine… but not like mine. Everyone knows the remaining humans couldn’t have survived The Fall, right?
